MENTORING

In 2026, I am offering 1-to-1 compassionate conversations over Zoom.

As you may know, I am a fully qualified, UKCP-accredited psychotherapist, and I see clients for regular weekly sessions of therapy. (You can find out more about that here.)

But sometimes people don't need the depth and commitment that psychotherapy offers and are looking for briefer connections where they can talk through issues with a compassionate and insightful listener. It might take just one session or a couple.

This is where Mindsprings Mentoring might be useful to you.

In 50-minute sessions, according to your need, we might cover:

  • Spiritual issues where a Buddhist eye might be useful
  • Advice for your own meditation teaching or therapy practice
  • Knotty issues with families or within the workplace
  • The particular stresses faced by the LGBTQ+ community
  • A specific issue that is snarling up your life energy.

Unlike long-term therapy, these compassionate conversations will not probe historical,  underlying causes. Nor can they offer the energy psychology techniques or psychotherapeutic healing of long-term work, but they might be the springboard that allows you to see things more clearly and feel supported in a difficult time

A compassionate conversation is a dialogue that is full of inspiration, helpful insight, and kindness.

Sessions are £45 for a 50-min session on Zoom and are arranged by email.

Please note that mentoring sessions are not a replacement for medical or psychological care. Please contact your doctor if you have pressing medical or psychological distress. Compassionate conversations are not psychotherapy. â€‹
