Update on Cory
Cory's last MRI showed that the cancer in her liver hadn't spread as fast as the oncologist had expected. He told her she might have an extra couple of months so she and her husband came over!! They spent a week going round family here and then to Denmark where she had been an exchange student. Amazing. I had four and a half precious hours with them so that was an unexpected blessing. She has decided on Dying With Dignity, which is legal where she lives.

Cory is my American sister-in-law from my first marriage. Last year she was diagnosed with a cyst on her pancreas, which very quickly progressed to being a tumour and she had to have a large part of her pancreas, her spleen and part of her stomach removed. Whilst recovering from this massive surgery she was told it was it was in her liver. She had one session of chemotherapy which floored her, was told genetic testing showed that she would not respond to four out of the five drugs she had been given and that the cancer in her liver was spreading. They gave her a short time, though they didn't ask exactly how long. Her husband finished treatment for aggressive prostate cancer last year.
