We are three weeks into our Thursday exploration of imagination/creation practice. Ultimately we are heading towards the visualisation of the Buddha of Compassion, Chenrezig. But in today's session we were looking at 'benefactors' from our own life that we can resurrect imaginatively, in order to sensitise ourselves to the feeling of being loved and appreciated. This is not without difficulties - and we discussed some of those in a question from Zana today.

Lovely early morning practice ( in my PJs ) this morning. Rachel mentioned the quiet part of the practice and Jane mentioned mantras. This brought back fond memories, for me, of the earlier "corona comfort "days which the original gang members will remember. We used to have a 'Satsang' evening session where we joined Alistair and Daniel ( and Ben ) for a silent sit. The only sound would be A and D chanting , beautifully, while Daniel played the shruti box...blissful. I always used this time to practice whatever we had been learning that particular week. Unfortunately, being on a Friday evening, it wasn't a good time, for many, Too near to planned weekend activities but it had all the ingredients that Rachel and Jane spoke of. Hello everyone, I wanted to post on here before it goes on general sale, but I'm coming up to EDINBURGH this November. A number of people were frustrated at not being able to get to London for the Tapping into Freedom course, so I'm running it again for my November weekend at the Salisbury Centre. It's the 18-19th November. We're in the lovely light Studio Room upstairs at the Centre so there's space for about 25-30 people. If you're a Baobab member you get a 15% discount. Near the end of today’s always-lovely Beingfulness session, Narit brought up the Queen’s recent “hologram” carriage, asking a wonderfully valid question of it: “I mean, what is that?” I have some answers — too many, in fact; I just completed a PhD dissertation on that very technological subject! — and I refrained from jumping in for fear of babbling on and hijacking the enjoyable chat. Hi all, I came across this review ( which in itself is a treat to read with beautiful artwork) of 'The biology of wonder', by Andreas Weber. It touches on a some of the subjects Alistair talked about this year, so maybe some of you find it inspiring. I have not read the book yet. Click on the one you want to attend and then on Zoom details. This will take you to the meeting. Or you can click the symbol to the right to copy it for later. The same thing pertains to the app. Click the My Profile button on the bottom right and then on bookings. Remember: • you do need to book each session individually to get the details. Each session has its own Zoom code. • you will need a valid Baobab subscription. (You can also check, cancel and control your subscriptions in your Mindsprings settings, as above.)
