- What makes you a Buddhist - Dzongsar Khyentse RinpocheEn Sharing Space·4 May 2023So, what makes you a Buddhist? You may not have been born in a Buddhist country or to a Buddhist family, you may not wear robes or shave your head, you may eat meat and idolize Eminem and Paris Hilton. That doesn’t mean you cannot be a Buddhist. In order to be a Buddhist, you must accept that all compounded phenomena are impermanent, all emotions are pain, all things have no inherent existence, and enlightenment is beyond concepts. – Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche4022

- Critical thoughtsEn Questions & Answers·12 May 2022Hi Alistair, I just want to thank you for your guidance regarding my invasive thoughts. They are not always critical but always noisy ! I shall be guided by your suggestion and , with a little more practice, I hope to be able welcome them in without allowing them to take centre stage so much.( I'll probably sneak back ,now and then, to the anchor and the somatic tent , my favourites) Thoroughly enjoyed the meditation, this evening always a pleasure to practice 'live' with you. Love and blessings Patti 🙏08125

- I'm here !!En Sharing Space·21 April 2022Well, I've arrived here at the shiny new website but I'm afraid I entered via the ' back door' .The site doesn't seem to like either my password or email address. Have to login with Google. If I'm the only one this has happened to, it's probably me causing the problem. Hopefully that can be remedied. My technology prowess is limited. However, I'm enjoying having a tootle around the site and getting my bearings.❤️❤️🏆🙏0777

- Holograms & everyday hauntingsEn Sharing Space16 June 2022Good heavens Thomas, how did you manage to hold your tongue last night? I am always impressed by people's depth of knowledge and I look forward to diving into your holographical musings. I like the idea that Daniel and I could be Abba-ized into a meditative Frieda and Agneta30
- Everything Everywhere All The TimeEn Sharing Space16 June 2022Apparently, the googly eyes were a craze before the movie. Which is perhaps why Evelyn is so sniffy about her husband using them in the laundry. But what a deepening of the signifier, when you suddenly think of them as the opposite of the evil bagel!30
- Vipashyna makes us look at misperception and how misperceptions cause suffering.En Alistair Clips26 April 2024Oh yes how we see and perceive - soooo central to the understanding of our world and others ( and ourselves ) I will read this one ! As someone who feels ‘unheard ‘ when misrepresented quite often ( maybe l need to look at how l communicate) & how that hurts a bit - l will check this out xx thanks Alistair xxxx30
- Vipashyna makes us look at misperception and how misperceptions cause suffering.En Alistair Clips26 April 2024For me, this was the "deepest" teaching you have provided, Alistair. I was particularly affected by your comment that it is wise to be humble about the limits of our perception, for in fact, does the way we lazily perceive the world make us suffer? There is so much to think about here, dear Teacher! Thank you.30
