Lesley Gibson
I was sad to hear from Julia this morning that Lesley Gibson has died.
Lesley was a prominent member of MIndsprings during the Lockdown and often asked very brilliant questions after the sessions. Whilst I'm sad to hear that she has died, I am glad that we as a community can remember her and pray for her as she makes the transition to whatever comes next.
From a Buddhist point of view, the death process leads to a transition phase (bardo) where we can be confused and overwhelmed by what's happening to us. The more people who remember us and send peaceful and compassionate energy the better the outcome. You may have your own way of doing that but a simple way to pray for the dead is to call on the Buddha of Compassion, Chenrezig, and chant his mantra OM MANI PADME HUNG. to help the deceased navigate the bardo
May Lesley be free from suffering and confusion in the transition. And may our thoughts help her to an outcome that will benefit her and the world she re-enters.

Condolences to all friends
