Rob Nairn
The South African dharma teacher Rob Nairn died at his home in Cape Town two days ago, can we please remember him in our prayers as he makes his way through the Bardo.

Rob was an enormous inspiration to me as I was starting out on the Buddhist path and I was fortunate to travel with him in Zimbabwe and meet some of his extraordinary sangha there.
Without him, the Mindfulness Association here in the UK would not have been formed. And there are many amongst you, I'm sure who have practiced under his inspiring mix of Tibetan and Western psychology.

I will pray for him. I love this photo. The contrast between the background with its sacred symbols and his shirt is hylarious. Afrikaans is orginally Dutch. Poephol is not a word we use in the Netherlands, but it literally means shithole (anus). I understand that in afrikaans it is used figurative to mean fool. Konsentreer means concentrate……
