I feel that yesterday's meditation brought something back to me or helped me pull something together about grief/tragedy and joy and really feel it instead of just 'knowing' it: Remember on "This Is Us' when Rebecca gathers the family to tell them about what she wants to happen when her condition declines? She says something like 'You cannot make your life smaller because of me.' I know my sister would've felt that way, Sandy, our collie, would have felt that way, the little kids at Sandy Hook and Uvalde TX and the people at the WTC on 9/11, certainly my friend Denny, would have felt that way...And/or that's the spiritual message I'm getting. Anyway, as a result of the meditation, I think I understand more about 'living it' instead of just 'knowing it'...

Ah that's beautiful. We are very big indeed, if only we could recognise it. (And, yes, of course, that is what all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas want us to do).
