I posted an item about my dog in shared space and have been inundated with responses from the above, none of which seem to be relevant to my post. I am worried that this person has hacked either my account or Mindsprings in general. I sent a post to Alistair and am waiting for a reply, but as this could be serious I am asking the group as well. Hello lovely people, I wanted to share with you that my beautiful rescue dog Lilli left this life last week after a sudden and short illness. I was able to be with her before, during and after her passing and so could give her a loving and positive Buddhist send-off. Animals give us so much joy and comfort and it was an absolute privilege to have her travelling with me during the last 8 years. I am missing her so much. Please wish her well as she starts her next journey. Thank you Lesley G

(Ref. Alistair's selected poem this week about mushrooms growing in the shed) I've been catching up with The Big Scottish Book Club on BBC i-player, in my view the only really good book programme around, so catch it if you can! Anyhoos, one of the authors in the last series (Cal Flyn) has published a book about nature regrowing in contaminated abandoned areas which sounds fascinating and sad but hopeful. It's called Islands of Abandonment, have a look at what it says on-line. Have a happy day if you can!🤗
