The Lojong Slogans

This Autumn we're looking at the mind-training, or lojong slogans, which are the pith instructions of Geshe Chekawa Yeshe Dorje (1101–1175) and are a distillation of the earlier teachings from Atisha. The 59 slogans are collected in the 'Seven Points of Mindtraining Text'.
You can download the PDF of the Tibetan and English translation by Adam Pearcey (2012):
(Lotsawa House is, by the way, an incredible resource for Tibetan texts )
There are numerous commentaries on the lojong slogans.
I'll be drawing on:
Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche's The Practice of Lojong (sorry I couldn't find a non-Amazon option)
and
Trungpa Rinpoche's Training the Mind (also available in the bigger Bodhisattva Path of Wisdom and Compassion compendium)
and
Pema Chödron's Start where you. This is a very accessible commentary from one of our great living teachers. She has also produced a rather nice set of cards for the lojong slogans that you can use as daily reminders.

I have Pema Chodron's beautiful set of Lojong Slogans and I'm still struggling with some of the meanings. I'm so looking forward to revisiting and better understanding these rather cryptic Slogans. Bring it on !! XX ❤️🙏
