Let's Remember

Cory is my American sister-in-law from my first marriage. Last year she was diagnosed with a cyst on her pancreas, which very quickly progressed to being a tumour and she had to have a large part of her pancreas, her spleen and part of her stomach removed. Whilst recovering from this massive surgery she was told it was it was in her liver. She had one session of chemotherapy which floored her, was told genetic testing showed that she would not respond to four out of the five drugs she had been given and that the cancer in her liver was spreading. They gave her a short time, though they didn't ask exactly how long. Her husband finished treatment for aggressive prostate cancer last year. She decided to stop treatment and live whatever time she has left to the best. It would be hard to think of someone who had a healthier lifestyle than Cory. They live on an island off Seattle but came to see me in 2023, when I was having a hard time. It is sad to think I Probably won't see her again. She has family around her but I would be very grateful f you could hold Cory and her family in heart space at this time. Thank you. May you all be well. 🙏❤️
