Big thank you to my friends at Mindsprings for your messages and thoughts for my little community here during the last couple of weeks as we experienced the scary wildfires.

I'm happy to say that over last couple of days we seem to have turned the corner and it's now over 60% contained and our evacuation orders lifted. Definitely not something I ever thought I'd experience at such close proximity and very thankful to the brave fight fighters who worked 24/7 to keep everyone safe and the community who helped digging fire block trenches and putting out spot fires and pulling together to get livestock moved from the ranches closest to fires. Hopefully all the wild animals have survived as well, the bear that roams our town at night trying to break into trash cans has been spotted this weekend and must say I'm very happy that he has return…
